When we woke up this morning, it was absolutely beautiful outside. Regan was elated to learn that school had been canceled for the first snow day of the year.
While Sage slept in a bit, my trusty sidekick and I headed out to take a few pictures.
The snow was deeper than it has been in a long time, and of course, neither of us took the time to put our snow pants on!! :)
I am not a big fan of the cold, but I sure can appreciate the beauty of freshly fallen snow.
The girls enjoy being out in the snow.
Especially when there are icicles to be had!
And my new motto? When life throws you a snow day...make snow ice cream...
for LUNCH! LOL!
