Our cups overfloweth...

They overfloweth the sink that is!! LOL! For the most part, I really don't mind doing dishes. And, strangely enough, I wash them all by hand, even though we have a dishwasher. However, after cleaning what seems like about 18 different cups for the girls every day, we are working on a new system. I have asked them to each pick a cup in the morning and make a mental note of their selection and use it for the remainder of the day. So far, so good. :) Their favorites are our tupperware cups with lids and a twisty straw. Isn't life just much more fun with a twisty straw??

What a fun idea to let them choose a cup for the day. We seem to go through A LOT of dishes around here as well. My sister solved this problem by buying a set of glass cups, and some glass etching paste, and letting her kids paint their names onto the cups. They are a little older, and can handle glasses, but I'm not quite brave enough to do that with my kids just yet. Maybe in a year or two.
